Discover the Concordia Difference
At Concordia University – Portland, students are challenged, encouraged and empowered to ask hard questions and think with purpose. By learning to think critically, to seek new solutions, and to risk failure, our students become well rounded citizens and responsible leaders.
Founded by The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, we opened our doors in Portland, Oregon in 1905. We provide a challenging, yet supportive online learning environment where spirited intellectual inquiry strengthens our commitment to justice, compassion and moral integrity.
Concordia is a private, nonprofit, Christian liberal arts university. We are open to students of any faith, and we welcome diversity. We look forward to guiding, nurturing – and challenging – all students and learners as we prepare leaders for the transformation of society.
Concordia University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
